Not that we're done going through the main features, it's time for us to talk about real-world performance.
The first thing you'll notice is how soft and cuddly the organic cotton fabric is. It's 400 TC after all. It's really nice to the touch and it feels great against the skin.
However, we'd suggest you use the bamboo cover. It's pretty much as soft as cotton, and it will ensure your blanket lives longer.
As for build quality, there are no loose threads or imperfections to be found anywhere. All the stitching is even and tight, and the blanket feels really well put together.
The glass beads stayed in place. They didn't shift around and create clumpy spots, even during our rigorous shake tests. That's really important for a heavy blanket such as this one, as it prevents cold spots, heavy spots, lumps etc.

On the downside
One thing we wanted to divert your attention to is how warm this thing gets. While manufacturers may claim (as GnO does) their weighted blanket is “year-round”, there is just no way you'll be able to comfortably rest under most of these during the summer.
And, sure, the glass beads don't feast on your body's heat, but at the same time, you're hot under a simple sheet during the summer, let alone a 15+ blanket.
To their credit, you won't wake up drenched in sweat if your room is airconditioned and ventilated.
Other than that, this is a very good weighted blanket that gets the job done.
